IF I WERE....

If I were the new President of Ateneo de Davao University, there would be one change I want pursue on implementing, the good all mighty ONLINE ENROLLMENT.

I know it's not a new issue, and I think it's time for our prestigious school to level up make a change for the convenience of everyone.
I know how hard it is on enrollment days to wake up early, wait for the T-forms to be released then fill up the forms  and wait again for countless of hours to get your print out. I mean it's not that everybody gets bored and lazy on waiting but the fact that we know we can have a better system, would we still want to stick and suffer to the old, slow, time consuming system we got right now?

I'd say NO. We pay them money for the better improvement of our facilities, to provide salary for our dear teachers, to our security guards, to the janitors can we at least have a little favor to ask the school to give u a time out even just for enrollment?
I know it would be costly to make and maintain an online enrollment system but at least it's a win-win situation for both school and us students.
If I were the president, I would really implement online enrollment system.

2D's of the 90's

I was born on the year 1991 and I couldn't blame my self for loving 2D cartoons until now cause I grew up with them.
Last Thursday I turned on the television and scanned on the channels to see what's up, I pass by  the cartoon network channel, the most famous kids channel of my time. Some of the show I really love to watch are Scooby-Doo, Captain Planet, Courage the cowardly dog, Cow and Chicken, Dexter's Laboratory, The Flintstones, I Am Weasel, The Jetsons, Johnny Bravo, The Little Lulu Show, The Mask, The Popeye Show and  Tom and Jerry. I was hoping that by tuning in for an hour or so to cartoon network I can see some of these shows but as to my dismay it didn't do re-runs of the past shows they have, I guess.

After watching, I turned on the desktop and went online to search on my favorite show, Scooby-Doo. I made a little research too about the show and I found out that it Originally aired on September 13, 1969. I just have found out that Scooby is a Great Dane breed of a dog. I didn't cared much of this way back, all that I cared and know is that I love watching Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby solve mysteries and that's it!
When 90's ended, I felt that it was also the end of 2D cartoon shows and everything turned into 3D animations which I cant say I'm not fond but I'm just not that interested to watch anymore. Maybe, it's also the fact that I'm growing up that I limit my self to watch cartoons and stuff. But right now, I'm just missing the good old 2D's of the 90's cartoons.
Oh and I found a complete series of Scooby-Doo show the original first two seasons that aired 1969- 1974 and I am proud to say I am currently downloading 5.92 gb cartoon history! :)

P.S.
I found out that it's not only me who wants the old 2D's of Cartoon Network. take a look at the video I found on youtube. Watch This!

FAST APPROACHING SUMMER

Everybody's excited for summer to come. But as for the weather right now? I don't know if summer's going to be sunny or will it be a cold rainy summer for us this 2011. I'm not concern about anything regarding with school or class, I just want to have a 2-3 month break from all of the acedemic things happening around. Maybe, just maybe, one day in the up coming summer time, I would miss all the stress brought by school. Just as everybody want, we want to experience summer already, but then in some days of summers we'll be longing for school cause it's totally boring if you're just inside of the house rolling in your bed right?

A FAILING GRADE ISN'T THE END OF THE WORLD

Yes! So true. So what if I got a failing mark in my subject (particularly Business Statistics)? Okay I did cry a little, well a lot to be honest, but I realized, I'm crying for something that can no longer be changed right? One quote always makes me feel a little less sad when I think about my grades, " grades won't define who you are in the real wold"  true right? It's not always about what you get it's what have you learned. In my case, I learned enough for me to understand it but not to pass the exam. I'm always the worried type a paranoid of everything but not to the extent of getting depressed and cry over it for a whole day, an hour of mourning in my grade is enough. HAHA. :))  I'm still young, it's not yet the finals and I know could do better if I concentrate just a bit more just enough to pass the next exam. and every cloud has a silver lining I know cause I believe in it. ;)
