KEEP IT SHORT, STUPID

Everything has to be short. Why? I don't know. But in our class, we are taught to write letters and keep it short. Time is of the essence. Time is gold and patience is a virtue. I think that's why they want it short. Most of us are tired of reading long letters,and stories (I guess that why theyt made SHORT stories to aviod the readers from getting bored ei?).

So I wonder, when would McDonald's open their branch at SM. I can't understand why it is still close. Is it the fact that they caught me eating a burger from Jollibee? Or, they are just focusing and stuff in renovating and giving this fast-food restaurant a new look?  But before that i want to share to you friends the history of this largest chain of hamburger fast-food.

The business began at San Bernardino, California when brothers Richard and Maurice introduced it at the year 1940. the first mascot of the said fast-food is a man with a chef's hat on top of a hamburger shaped head whom they called "Speedee" but was replaced by a clown shaped man with a puffed out costume legs by 1967 who we all recognize and goes by the name of Ronald McDonald. The first McDonald's restaurants opened in the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Panama, Japan, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, France, El Salvador and Sweden, respectively. While McDonald's opened its branch here in Philippines on 1981 at Morayta, Manila. 

There's the brief history of how McDonald's came to be. i wonder if they are so productive, why is it taking so long for SM to open it's branch? One of my friends who works there said that it will open on the last week of November or the first week of December but the first week of this month is almost at its end! Dear Christ please let me taste heaven once more, let me eat at McDonald's SM!

 I know that there are a lot of branches here at the city but I prefer to eat at that branch because of some certain memories i have while eating out in there. Those good old times that nothing can replace. You know that feeling when you sit there at the very place where you used to laugh until you cry? Or the time that someone you really love tells you something very special that you want to cherish for all your life? I tend to get that feeling whenever I go there that's why I'm anxious to go back and eat out in there. I also miss buying to go meals and bring it at the movie house. Good times, good good times with McDonald's.  

I hope this fast-food will open soon before the year ends. :(

NOW WHAT?

There's nothing much to say this week, just because nothing interesting happened except for the fact that I always forget to write in my blog 3 or 4 days before I should submit it. well, I think there are some that's worth sharing for ( I think).

First, last Wednesday, I have watched the movie My Amnesia Girl with my boyfriend (and no Iwill never make another movie review ever again. I suck on it and I don't want to spoil another movie. geeez..). Then we went to our favorite place, the supermarket. Instead of buying pizza, we decided to make one, so we did. :)

Yesterday, Thursday, I believe I really really am dumb when it come to accounting, HAHA and I'm not that good at correcting errors. -.-

Today is Friday, right now I am typing my blog for this week. Also,I'm trying to remember something interesting about my week but I guess there's not much to it. I hope I'll have a good one next week! :)

LIFE AS WE KNOW IT

         So, I watched this movie entitled "Life As We Know It" earlier this afternoon with my boyfriend. We have been planning to watch this for the last month (or 2 maybe I can't recall it). Anyway, this is not the issue. im going to somewhat make a "Movie Review" the Joreen Luy version. So here it goes i hope i would finish posting this so called "review" of mine ALIVE. lol

         Katherine Heigl and Co-star Josh Duhamel starred on the Romantic-Comedy film entitled Life as We Know It, portrayed Holly Berenson and Eric Messer respectively, a caterer and a sports network director who have nothing in common but their hate for eachother and their love for their darling goddaughther, Sophie. The two were forced to live together when Sophie's parents died on an accident and they were the once who Sophie only have in this world, they need to set aside their differences for the good while living under one roof.

    The movie not only showed moral value about friendship but also on a deeper realization that the word FAMILY not only means that you have to be related by blood or by marriage to survive life as a family, you just need each others understanding, setting aside differences and helping one another through difficult times of life.

That's the end of movie review. Well, I think it didn't look anything like a movie review but rather an opinion or a  POV about the movie (or I think I'm right but I'm wrong if I say it;s the same thing on movie reviews??)

As for my own life as I know It part, life, has treating me badly. Food badly. i can't heck eat chicken, choclates, seafoods and junk foods. The good things in life are the one's I can't eat at all. BOO! :( *two thumbs down*

BEKIMON

       First, there was Jologs from the mid 90's. Then the teenage crazies, of the late 2000, the Jejemons, and these year, 2010 comes a new breed of people. the BEKIMON.

       Bekimon, the language of gays. Funny how gays were discriminated, they have been called in different ugly names like "fag" and for quite sometime their sexuality has been considered as a disease. But now, these gays are making a name for their race. Have you ever asked yourself or anybody why these  homosexuals speak differently among us? Well as for me, I think because as everyone of us belongs to a certain group or social class ( nerds, jocks, punks, cheerleaders, et. al.) them too, these homosexuals form a group of their own or as they quote it "FEDERASYON". What interests me in this people is the mother of bekimons, Mr. Bern Josep Persia, he is one astonishing gay that  I have seen acting or shall I say performing online.

          One thing about these homosexuals, they know how to entertain people around them may it be friends, acquaintances or a stranger to them, disrespect them and you'll surely get what you're looking for.
